This article describes how to install V3 Internet Security 9.0 for Windows and V3 Net for Windows Server 9.0 for Windows Servers.

You can use the agents to automatically install V3 for central management servers such as EPP. But if you want to use the standalone V3 product, perform the following installation steps.

Download Installation File

You can download the latest installation file from [Download] > [Installation File] on MyCompany.

• [Go to MyCompany]
• You can download the file upon logging in with a Corporate ID that owns the product.

The installation file changes every time the product is patched. Please download a new installation file when installing the product. Do not store the previously downloaded installation files separately.

Check Product Number

You must enter the product number when installing the product.

You can view the product number of the installed product from [License] > [Purchase status] on MyCompany.

• [Go to MyCompany]
• You can download the file upon logging in with a Corporate ID that owns the product.

Run Installation File

1. Double-click to run the downloaded installation file.

2. Once the installation file is executed, click [Next] and agree to the License Agreement.

3. Review the ‘ASD Data Collection Agreement’ and choose to agree or not.

• Even if you skip the agreement during installation, you can set it again within the V3 product.

4. Enter User Name, Corporate Name, Product Number in the ‘User Information’ window and click [Next].

5. Select the installation options and click [Next]. Select the ‘Full’ option except for special circumstances.

• Full: Install all features of the V3 product.
• Exclude Network Protection only: Install the product without the Personal Firewall, Web Security, Network Intrusion Prevention, and Behavioral Intrusion Prevention features.
• Exclude Multidimensional Analysis: Install the product without the Network Security, Behavioral Intrusion Prevention, and Enable Reputation-based Analysis features.

6. Click [Install] to proceed. Unless there is a specific reason to set up a separate installation folder, the default installation folder will be kept.

7. Click [Finish] to complete the installation.

When the installation completes, the V3 main screen opens, and the V3 icon shows up on the desktop and in the system tray.
