[LOG] If only ‘Small memory dump’ is Available in Settings
If a BSOD occurs and you need to collect a dump, you must collect a full memory dump or a kernel memory dump because a small memory dump cannot determine the cause of the problem.
If only ‘Small memory dump’ option is available from the memory dump settings, you can try changing the memory dump type by modifying the registry.
To Change the Registry
1. Open the ‘Registry Editor’.
2. Locate the following registry key.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\CrashControl
3. Double-click on ‘CrashDumpEnabled’ and change the value to 1.

4. After changing the value for CrashDumpEnabled, go to Control Panel > System > Advanced System Settings > Startup and Recovery > [Settings...] to see if the ‘Write debugging information’ has changed.
5. Reboot the system to apply the registry changes.
