When operating an EMS server, problems can occur if the time on the Linux server differs from the local time. Because agents are used based on server time. We recommend daily time synchronization to reduce errors between real time and server time.
(1) Setting up the time server for the EMS console
Set up a time server under [Management[ - [Domain] - [Domain Settings] - [Others] - [Time Server] Settings.
In the Time Server Address field, type the NTP server domain to set it up.
* If synchronization to url above is not possible, proceed to another domain.
(2) Setting agent policies
Set the Synchronize Time with Server option of [Management] - [Policy] - [기본 에이전트 정책] - [Time Synchronization] Settings.
(3) Log in to the EMS shell account and set up the EMS server as a time synchronization server.
[Shell Account Login] - [6. manageremnet] - [7. Time Sync Server]
Activate the service as shown above.
After you complete the setup, restart the services on the APC Server to reflect the synchronization time with the time server.
