[MyCompany] Failed to create an offline authentication file. (Error code 7100)
If an offline authentication operation fails in MyCompany, check the error code.
If the error code is displayed as 7100, it may be due to one of the following reasons.
1. The license number does not match the license you own
This occurs when the license number entered for the product that generated the information file differs from the license number you own.
Specific examples include the following:
- Entering the license number of another company (such as a subsidiary or parent company) after installing the product
- Making a typo when entering the license number
- For EPP, entering a license number after selecting the wrong product (for example, owning V3 IS 9.0 but selecting and entering V3 ES 9.0)
MyCompany can only create offline authentication files for licenses you own.
Check whether the license number entered for the product is displayed under [License > Purchase status] in MyCompany.
2. The authentication file was created with an expired license included
A 7100 error may also occur when an authentication file is created for a product that allows multiple licenses to be entered, such as EPP, while a product that expired more than six months ago is also registered.
Delete the expired license and create the information file again.
If it is difficult to determine the cause of the problem even after checking the license information, or if another failure code occurs, submit an inquiry and we will provide support.
