[AhnLab] Notice of Changes in ASTx Usage Methods Due to Chrome 145/Edge 146 Update
With the update to Chrome 145 / Edge 146, some usage methods for ASTx (AhnLab Safe Transaction) have been changed as detailed below.
1. Update Schedule
- Chrome 145: February 10, 2026 (Tuesday)
-
Edge 146: March 13, 2026 (Friday)
(Based on U.S. time)
2. Changes
Before (Chrome 141–144 / Edge 141–145)
ASTx performs local communication with protected websites to verify the product's normal operating status. Accordingly, when using protected websites, a 'browser notification for local network connection (local network access)' was displayed.
After (Chrome 145 / Edge 146)
Starting from Chrome 145 / Edge 146, local network access permissions have been refined to enhance security.
The existing local network permission is now divided into the following two categories:
- Local Network
- Loopback Network
ASTx communicates between the website and the Loopback Network to verify the product's normal operating status. Accordingly, in Chrome 145 / Edge 146 environments, browser notifications (accessing other apps and subs on this device) may appear when using ASTx for Loopback Network connections. However, if you have already allowed local network access on Chrome 144 / Edge 145 or earlier, the settings will be transferred to Chrome 145 / Edge 146 and can be used as before without additional notifications.
