[AhnLab] How to Use AhnLab Safe Transaction in Chrome 145 / Edge 146 or Later
With the update to Chrome 145 / Edge 146, some usage methods for ASTx (AhnLab Safe Transaction) have been changed as detailed below.
1. What Has Changed
Starting from Chrome 145 / Edge 146, access permissions related to the local network have been enhanced and subdivided for improved security.
The previous Local Network access permission has now been divided into the following two categories:
- Local Network
- Loopback Network
ASTx communicates between the website and the Loopback Network to verify its normal operation status.
Accordingly, when using ASTx in Chrome 145 / Edge 146, you may see a browser prompt such as:
"Allow access to other apps and services on this device."
However, if Local Network access had already been allowed in earlier versions (Chrome 144 / Edge 145 or below),
this setting will be migrated to the newer versions, and ASTx can be used without additional prompts.
