[ASTX] AhnLab Safe Transaction Usage Guide for Chrome Version 142
This is a guide on how to use ASTx in browser settings in Chrome browser version 142.
Changed Features
In Chrome browser version 142, a prompt will appear asking the user for permission when a request is made to access the local network, to enhance security.
ASTx (AhnLab Safe Transaction) communicates locally with protected websites to verify the normal operation of the product. Therefore, after the Chrome update, when using related sites, a notification regarding the connection will be displayed as shown below.
How to Use ASTx After Browser Update
When accessing sites such as bank or securities company websites that require ASTx to run, if the above notification appears, please click the 'Allow' button to ensure the security program operates smoothly.
If you selected 'Block,' you can change the settings by clicking the icon at the top left of the browser screen.
Find the 'Local Network Access' option and switch it to ON.
If the 'Local Network Access' option is not visible, please click 'Site settings' and then change 'Local Network Access' at the bottom to 'Allow.'
