“Error -1109” occurs when updating V3 Mobile Security.
Why is this error happening to me?
“-1109 Update Error” may occur when the currently installed V3 Mobile Security is not the latest version.
To resolve the issue, we recommend updating the V3 Mobile Security app to the latest version from the Play Store.
"I'm using a version lower than Android 6.0"
However, the latest version of V3 Mobile Security can be used on Android 6.0 or higher. Therefore, if the device you are using is lower than Android 6.0, we recommend that you uninstall the V3 Mobile Security app and search for “antivirus” in the Play Store to find products available for your device.
“It’s the same even if I updated V3 Mobile Security to the latest version.”
If an error occurs even with the latest version of V3 Mobile Security, please delete the data using the method below and reinstall the app.
- Press and hold the V3 Mobile Security icon to go to ‘App Information’ or ‘ⓘ’, or select ‘AhnLab V3 Mobile Security’ in ‘Application Management’ in device settings.
- Go to ‘Storage’ and select ‘Delete Data’.
- Select ‘Delete’ to uninstall the app, then reinstall V3 Mobile Security from the Play Store.
