When logging in to the EDR Web Console on Chrome browser, the following error message may appear: ‘EDS-00010 Authentication failed because login information is invalid.’ This article describes the cause of the error and its appropriate action.

Error Cause

Starting from Chrome browser version 115 and above, Storage Partitioning, an experimental security policy, is applied to some users.

When this policy is active, it creates partitions with separate storages. It may prevent EDR from accessing the EPP storage, resulting in timeouts during login authentication.

Action

1. Enter the link below into the Chrome browser address bar and access the page.

• chrome://flags/#third-party-storage-partitioning

2. Change the policy below to ‘Disabled'.

• Experimental third-party storage partitioning

3. After changing the policy, click [Relaunch] at the bottom of the browser to relaunch Chrome.
