After installing V3, a product verification must be completed to run the program.

 

Auto verification is available if communication with AhnLab server is possible, but if the product was installed in an offline environment (Closed Network) without any internet access, you need to perform the following steps to verify the product.

• Create information file (.oafq) from V3 installation server.
• Upload the information file (.oafq) on MyCompany website to create a verification file (.oafp).
• Upload the verification file (.oafp) to the V3 again.

For more detailed instructions, follow the steps below.

To Create the Information File (.oafq)

 

1. Run [Offline Verification] from the Start menu after installing V3.

• This file is identical to v3oat.exe located in the V3 installation path. If ‘Offline Verification’ is not shown in the Start menu, please run v3oat.exe.
• Default V3 Installation Path: C:\Program Files\AhnLab\V3IS90

 

2. When the Offline Verification window appears, click on [Register Serial Number].

 

3. After the Register Serial No. window shows up, enter the serial number of the product to install and then click [OK].

 

4. Once the serial number is registered, click on [Create Information File].

 

5. The file path for the created information file (.oafq file) will be displayed after the file is created. Move this file to a PC connected with internet.

To Create the Verification File (.oafp)

 

1. Log in to [MyCompany] on the PC with the information file (.oafq) imported.

 

2. Go to [License] - [Offline Authentication] and then click [Upload license information file].

 

3. Upload the imported information file (.oafq), then click [Next].

 

4. Once the authentication file is created, click [Download all authentication files].

 

5. Import the downloaded authentication file (.oafp file) back to the PC where V3 was installed.

To Apply the Verification File to V3

 

1. Click [Browse] near the bottom of the Offline Verification window and select the imported verification file (.oafp).

 

2. Click [Apply Verification File] to complete the process.

After the verification file is applied, you can execute V3.

To Check Registered Device

 

You can view and manage all devices that have verified the installed product from [License] - [Use/Manage] in MyCompany.
