[V3] -496 Error occurs when updating V3.
The -496 error may occur when there is a network issue causing failure to download the files required for updates.
This may occur if you are unable to access the AhnLab server due to issues in the settings such as firewall blocking, VPN, or network equipment, or if you are unable to access the management server built separately within the company.
Action
If AhnLab Security Agent (EPP) and V3 are installed together, please check with your internal IT department to make sure there are no problems with the network and server settings.
If you bring home a PC that was used at work, the error may occur because it cannot connect to the company network. Confirm that all of the network settings, such as VPN, have been completed.
If it is hard to determine the exact error cause, please collect AhnReports to submit an inquiry and we will analyze the logs.
